Edinburgh Printmakers

List of artists
Gordon Robin Brown, Jessica Harrison, Kenny Hunter, Jane Hyslop, Chad McCail, Ellen Munroe, Toby Paterson, Andrew Restall and David Shrigley.
We invite artists into the studio to collaborate with our master printers on the production of limited edition prints in the areas of etching, lithography, screenprinting, relief and digital printmaking. We work with existing printmakers and also artists who have never worked in this medium and provide technical assistance and creative input to help them realise ideas or concepts.
The artworks created by the artist and facilitated by the master printer are original prints: not a reproduction of an existing artwork. A limited number of prints are printed by the master printer as an edition, and on completion the edition is split between the artist and Edinburgh Printmakers.

Inkubator II

Inkubator II is a unique touring exhibition, which supports a range of national and international artists, bookmakers and printmakers who realise their work in the form of artist books and multiples. The nature of the exhibition as an installation allows for an interactive and engaging experience for the audience.
The show consists of four themed areas, which are flexibility enough to exploit a variety of spaces and do not necessarily have to be shown in one area as a unit. Two of the themed areas will feature work by artist and curator David Faithfull and Nicola Murray, Frans Baake, Imi Maute, Otto Dettmer, Wiebke Loeper, Lyndsey Mann, Miranda Schofield and a further fifty artists. The remaining areas will continuously evolve and develop with each geographical location. The selected emerging artists, residing in the venue’s locale, will work in collaboration with David Faithfull to realise their work in the form of printmaking and/or installation works which will be included as a featured space in the final exhibition.
This exhibition features framed prints, hand printed wallpaper, podcasts, multiples, library and hand printed installation works.
