Edinburgh Printmakers is seeking a Front of House Administration Assistant funded by the Future jobs fund
Work pattern: Weekdays, weekends and occasional evenings.
Hours: 25 per week.
Rate of Pay: National minimum wage
Duration: This post is funded through Future Jobs Fund and will be for 6 months.
Job Description
Reporting to and providing admin support to the Administrator the post holder will be first point of contact, providing good customer care for a range of users including visitors to the gallery, member of the studio and tradesmen. The post will involve answering telephones and email requests, processing sales, maintaining stock and contact databases, managing print stock movement, collating monitoring and evaluation data and taking course bookings.

Job Description
Reporting to and providing support to the Head of Sales and Development the post holder will be first point of contact, providing good customer care for a range of users including visitors to the gallery, member of the studio and tradesmen. The post will involve answering telephones, maintaining and updating databases, discussing works of art with visitors, processing sales, managing weekly shop stocktake, co-ordinating transportation of art works, assisting with exhibition co-ordination and installation and assisting with the marketing of exhibitions.
