EP you must become a member. Associate membership All our introductory courses include up to six months free associate membership which allows first time users to put into the practice the skills they have learnt during the course. Annual membership Full membership allows greater workshop access and entitles you to submit prints for sale in our display browsers and to submit work for members shows. You will also receive invitations to our gallery exhibition openings and are entitled to 10% off further education courses. Payable by annual subscription. Visiting
artists rates For artists who wish to work in the studio
for a limited period only. Background Edinburgh Printmakers was the first open access studio, founded in 1967. To gain access to the studio you must be an experienced printmaker or have successfully completed one of our introductory access courses. Application form First time users who are experienced printmakers must demonstrate a good working knowledge of the processes used at EP and spend a 1-hour induction course which familiarises the user with studio layout and practice and also covers necessary Health and Safety guidelines. In etching, previous experience of Acrylic Resist etching is essential. To arrange this induction leave your details with us by filling in a workshop application form, and we will arrange to make an appointment with the workshop staff in the area you intend to work. To help us become familiar with your background we will request to see some previous examples of your prints. Session fees Session fees are charged to cover some of the basic material and running costs of the workshop. Session fees can be paid annually, quarterly, monthly or per session, depending on which rate suits suits you. Regular users will find that monthly or quarterly fees are more economical while dedicated users may wish to take a combined annual membership which allows constant access throughout the year.
